There are two main products of silicone rubber

It is used in many products, especially in the manufacture of many polymers, and it applies to many places, liquids and elastomers are just a few examples, and the polysiloxane polymers formed by elastomers are often referred to as silicone rubber. Liquid silicone manufacturers introduce the high performance of silicone elastomers because it has a family of core products, stock of silicone rubber sheets and silicon coils that are easily converted into custom gaskets and accessories. There are also injection moulds for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) compression moulds specializing in silicone, such as conductive silicone.

Silicone rubber two main products

Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and high concentration rubber (HCR) are two main silicone rubber products. Liquid silicone usually consists of a two-part system of mixing and heat curing. Liquid silicone rubber can be cast into sheets or injection molding. It is often mixed and supplied to the glue forming factory to be molded or rotated into thin sheets.

Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) : low hardness option, faster molding cycle, lower product cost, clean curing process.

High concentration rubber (HCR) : Better machinery, wider temperature range, lower cost, better compression resistance.

Two common curing systems

There are two main systems for treating organosilicon: addition vulcanization and peroxide vulcanization. Molded silicone, usually platinum-catalyzed, is often formulated as clean, low-extractable rubber for use in medical devices or food processing. Except that the system is usually one of the same with the LSR but is ready-made.

Liquid silica gel products manufacturers introduce the curing process of peroxide curing system with free radical catalysis. Usually industrial grade silicone rubber is vulcanized by peroxide system, peroxide system is a common heavy carbon resource.
