First, the first factor affecting the vulcanization process of rubber products: vulcanization temperature

Vulcanization temperature of rubber products is the basic condition of vulcanization reaction of rubber, which directly affects the vulcanization speed and the quality of rubber products. Like all chemical reactions, the vulcanization reaction accelerates with the increase of temperature and tends to form more low-sulfur crosslinking bonds. Low vulcanization temperature results in slow rate, low formation efficiency and more polysulfide crosslinked bonds. Vulcanization temperature and generally applicable to van't Hoff's law, that is, every temperature rise of 8~10 (about equivalent to a gauge of steam pressure), the reaction speed will increase about twice; In other words, the reaction time is reduced by about half.


Two, the second factor affecting the vulcanization process of rubber products: vulcanization pressure


The vulcanization pressure of rubber sealing ring is an important factor to ensure the geometric size, structural density and physical machinery of rubber parts, but also to ensure the smooth surface of parts without defects, to meet the sealing requirements of rubber products. The main functions are as follows:


(1) to prevent the formation of air bubbles in the process of vulcanization, improve the compactness of products;


(2) provide the power of the filling flow of the rubber material, so that the rubber material can fill the whole mold cavity within the specified time;


(3) Improve the adhesion of rubber and clamps (curtain, etc.) and the flexural resistance of rubber products;


(4) Improve the physical and mechanical properties of rubber products.
